Product Description
The SXBP series high-capacity & high-voltage variable frequency
series resonance test complete set is specially developed for AC
withstand voltage tests of large-capacity and high-voltage primary
equipment in power systems. It can meet the on-site AC withstand
voltage test requirements for various capacitive test objects.
The high-voltage test reactors adopt modular series-parallel
combination design. It can carry out withstand voltage tests for
high-voltage transformers, GIS, SF6 circuit breakers, transformers,
bushings and other equipment, and also support withstand voltage
tests for long-distance XLPE cables. With wide compatibility for
different test samples, it is an ideal withstand voltage test
equipment for power system maintenance and power engineering
construction companies.
Product Advantages
1.Modular reactors for flexible combination: Reactors can be
connected in series or parallel. One set of equipment covers
multiple voltage levels, reduces procurement cost and is convenient
for transportation and assembly.
2. Low power supply capacity requirement: Based on resonance
principle, the required input power capacity is only 1/Q of test
capacity. Tests can be conducted on site with 380V power supply.
3. High-quality output waveform: Pure sine wave output with
waveform distortion rate ≤1%, ensuring accurate and reliable test
data.
4. High frequency adjustment precision: Wide frequency range
20~300Hz, adjustment sensitivity 0.1Hz, instability ≤0.05%,
matching different capacitive test samples easily.
5. Safe and stable operation: Equipped with multiple protections,
noise ≤65dB. It can run continuously for 60 minutes under rated
condition, suitable for field work in substations and construction
sites.
6. Wide universality: Compatible with cables, GIS, transformers,
transformers and other test objects, suitable for handover test,
preventive test and factory test scenarios.

FAQ
Q1: What equipment can this SXBP series resonance device test?
A: It is used for AC withstand voltage tests of 110kV/220kV/500kV
long-distance XLPE power cables, GIS combined electrical apparatus,
SF6 circuit breakers, power transformers, CT/PT transformers, CVT
capacitive voltage transformers, bushings, coupling capacitors and
other capacitive high-voltage equipment. It is widely used for
handover acceptance and preventive test projects of substations.
Q2: How much power supply does the equipment need? Can it work with
380V power supply on site?
A: Yes. Variable frequency series resonance boosts voltage by
resonance. The input power capacity is much smaller than the test
output capacity. Conventional 380V industrial power supply is
available on site, no high-power special transformer required. It
is suitable for construction sites and substations.
Q3: Are the reactors fixed? Can they be matched for different
voltage levels?
A: The reactors adopt modular series-parallel structure. They can
be freely connected in series or parallel. One main unit with
multiple reactor sections can switch between various voltage and
capacity grades to meet different test requirements with better
cost performance.
Q4: What is the test frequency range? Does it meet the frequency
requirement for transformer tests?
A: The output frequency is adjustable from 20~300Hz. For
transformer tests, the frequency can be stably controlled at
45~65Hz, complying with power test regulations.
