Product Description
This lightning impulse voltage test system is designed for full-wave impulse voltage tests on electrical products rated 10kV and below. It can also perform impulse withstand tests on porcelain insulators, glass insulators, composite silicone rubber insulators, and synthetic insulating materials.
Equipment Components
The system consists of a lightning impulse voltage generator, main capacitors, wavefront resistors, wavetail resistors, charging resistors, protective resistors, an automatic control system, a high-voltage triggering system, and an automatic grounding and safety interlock system.
Each main capacitor has a capacitance of 1.0 ± 0.05 μF and a DC operating voltage of ±100 kV. The capacitors use dry-type solid insulation and have an inherent inductance below 0.2 μH.
